What does the Dropshipping Profit Calculator do?
A dropshipping profit calculator shows what a product really earns once you count the supplier price, supplier shipping, your ad cost per sale, payment fees and refunds. Enter your numbers to get your profit per sale, your monthly profit, your break-even cost per sale and the selling price that reaches your target margin.

2. How is the dropshipping profit calculator calculated?
- Fees = price × fee % + fixed fee
- Refund loss = price × refund %
- Profit per sale = price − product cost − supplier shipping − ad cost − fees − refund loss
- Break-even CPA = price − product cost − supplier shipping − fees − refund loss
- Break-even ROAS = price ÷ break-even CPA
- Price for target margin = (cost + shipping + CPA + fixed fee) ÷ (1 − fee % − refund % − target margin)
A $40 product costs $11 from the supplier plus $4 shipping, and each sale costs $14 in ads. Fees are $1.46 and refunds cost $1.60, so profit is $7.94 per sale, a 19.8% margin, or $1,588 a month at 200 orders. Break-even CPA is $21.94 (a ROAS of 1.82). To reach a 20% margin you would price the product at $40.08.

What profit margin should dropshipping have?
Many dropshippers aim for a net margin of roughly 15 to 25% after ads, but it depends on refund rates, ad costs and volume. Make sure it stays positive when ad costs rise.
Why does my dropshipping store make sales but no profit?
Usually ad cost per sale, supplier shipping or refunds take more of the price than expected. This calculator shows which cost is biggest.
What is break-even CPA?
It is the most you can pay in ads to get one sale without losing money on it. If your real cost per sale is higher, that product loses money.
Do I need to include my Shopify plan and apps?
